Great Recipe Idea for Easter: RED BEET PICKLED EGGS

Easter is coming in just a few weeks, so plan ahead to make some red beet pickled eggs for Easter dinner.  There are two recipe ideas for you to check out.  The easy method is to buy beet pickles and adding them to hard-boiled Nature’s Yoke eggs.  The other idea is to make your own beet pickles using canned beets and adding, sugar, apple cider vinegar and spices.  A pint of beet pickles will pickle and color 12-14 eggs by adding more vinegar and sugar to create enough juice to cover the eggs completely.  Heat the vinegar enough to dissolve the sugar before adding.  It is a good idea to “stir” the eggs as they are “pickling” for a more even coloring.  Also it is best to allow them to “pickle” for at least two days for best color and flavor!  Beet pickled eggs can be used with any deviled egg recipe on our recipe site to create a very unique and attractive dish to add to that special Easter dinner!  Enjoy Nature’s Yoke eggs in creative ways this Easter!
