This next to best seller is a green beauty. In fact, we feel this item should be stocked in any grocery store that wants to sell Nature’s Yoke eggs. Let us tell you why.
It is a cage free egg. When we call it cage free, we mean that these birds are running loose in a large building. We do not require the farmers to give them outside access, but on some farms that does happen. As the birds are allowed to roam in these large buildings, they are able to exercise their wings as well as scratch and run about as they wish. All Nature’s Yoke eggs are Cage Free.
In addition to being cage free, this egg is veggie fed. This means we feed our chickens only grains and foliage. We use NO animal by-products in our feed. Because of the mad cow disease and other similar issues, customers want to move away from products that contain renderings of other animals.
There are also no antibiotics given to the chickens. More exercise and fewer birds in the buildings allows the chickens to naturally build up better immune systems and have less disease problems. We feel that a healthy chicken ought to produce a healthy egg. What do you think?
