Dill Pickled Eggs

12 Nature's Yoke eggs (hard-boiled, peeled, rinsed)
3/4 cup water
1 1/4 cup white vinegar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard or mustard seed
1 teaspoon dill weed
3/4 cup chopped onion
1. Prepare the eggs and place in a glass quart or larger jar.
2. Combine the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
3. Pour the mixture over the eggs and close the lid tightly. Cool down before refrigerating and chill well before serving. (For more even seasoning, rotate the jar to move the juice around the eggs several times before serving.)
These flavored eggs can be used to make deviled eggs with a very unique flavor!
