1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans

2 Nature's Yoke eggs

1 medium onion (chopped)

1 large carrot (grated fine)

1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

1 cup whole wheat flour 

 

Methods/steps

1.  For the easiest way to prepare these burgers, pour beans, eggs, onion and carrot into a blender and chop.  Add salt and flour after pouring out of blender.  (If blender is not available, mash the beans well and add remaining ingredients.)

2.  Heat 1/4 inch of oil in a hot skillet and dip out enough of the burger mixture for desired size and brown evenly on both sides.  Drain burgers well before serving.

3.  For additional flavor, serve with soy sauce, ketchup or mustard.
