Where Nature’s Yoke Eggs are gathered.
Our network of small, family farms are scattered throughout Lancaster County, PA and the surrounding areas. These farms, which are mostly Amish and Mennonite, have a growing effect on farming in general, on communities, and even on the environment.
Small, family-owned farms create jobs within the community, they assist in the support of local business efforts, and they have a very positive impact on the environment. They are small, yet highly productive and are investing in an occupation that has the ability to sustain its value for generations to come. These families are committed to meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Nature’s Yoke eggs are produced on these small sustainable farms, where family values and hard work is a normal part of life, and where produce, eggs and milk is a part of their daily diet.
Nature’s Yoke is committed to sustainable farming and our goal is to provide a market for the eggs produced on these local family farms. Through working with these families, through practicing sustainable farming methods and operating 100% naturally, we are able to offer you a product of the finest quality.
Meet our family farmers.
We will be adding regular introductions to our farmers. This will give you a brief overview of the lifestyle that sustainable agriculture is built on and what is promoted each time you purchase Nature’s Yoke eggs.
Our egg farms are located in agricultural areas where families grow up on farms. The skills required for this lifestyle are being passed from generation to generation, with emphasis on improvement and growth at the same time traditions are being built.
