Christmas Cut-Out Cookies are the perfect way to celebrate the holidays tastefully. Everyone loves a rich, buttery cookie decorated with holiday cheer ...adults and kids alike!

Yields72 Servings

 1 cup sugar
 ½ cup butter
 1 tbsp whole milk
 2 Nature's Yoke eggs
 ½ tsp vanilla
 3 cups flour (scant)
 dash of salt
 2 tsp baking powder
 Colored sugars, edible glitter and nonpareils
Frosting
 4 cups Dominos powdered sugar
 4 tbsp milk
 ½ tsp vanilla
 1 tbsp light corn syrup, optional (to add a shine to the frosting)
 gel food coloring

Cookies

Cream sugar and butter together in a mixing bowl. Add milk, eggs and vanilla.

Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture one cup at a time, mixing well. Chill several hours.

Roll out dough on a well floured surface to desired thickness (1/4"). Cut out with Christmas cookie cutters of your choice. Transfer to baking sheet. Bake at 375 F. for 8-10 minutes. Cool completely. Decorate cookies with frosting and colored sugars.
