Little bites of Golden Corn Fritters are a great addition to most country meals. They're even great for breakfast served with with maple syrup.

 2 Nature's Yoke eggs, beaten
 2 ¼ cups flour
 2 tsp baking powder
 1 tsp salt
 2 tsp sugar
 3 tbsp butter, melted
 1 can creamed corn
 1 can whole kernel corn
 2 qts oil, for frying
 maple syrup, optional

Mix all ingredients, except oil and syrup, together to form a wet dough.

Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 365 F. Drop by small spoonfuls into oil and cook five minutes per side until a deep golden brown.

Remove to a plate lined with paper towel. Serve with maple syrup on the side, if desired.
