Delicious and healthy, these Granola Bars are made with flaxseed, wheat germ, cinnamon, and craisins making an excellent, on-the-go healthy snack.

 2 cups rolled oats
 ½ cup brown sugar
 ¼ cup wheat germ
 ¼ cup ground flaxseed
 1 tsp Cinnamon
 1 cup flour
 ¾ cup craisins
 ¾ tsp Salt
 ½ cup applesauce
 ½ cup canola oil
 ½ cup honey
 1 Nature's Yoke egg, beaten
 2 tsp Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 F. Generously grease a 9x13 baking pan.

In a large bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, flaxseed, cinnamon, flour, craisins and salt.

In a separate bowl, combine applesauce, oil, honey, egg and vanilla. Make a well in the center of dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Mix well. Pat mixture evenly into prepared pan.

Bake for 20-30 minutes until the bars turn golden at the edges. Cool for 5 minutes, then cut bars while still warm.

Wrap individually or store in air-tight container.
