Enjoy these soft, chewy raisin oatmeal cookies, a recipe passed down from my great-grandmother.

 ¾ cup butter
 1 cup brown sugar
 2 Nature's Yoke eggs
 1 tsp vanilla
 ¼ cup milk
 2 cups all-purpose flour
 1 tsp baking powder
 1 tsp baking soda
 1 tsp salt
 1 tsp cinnamon
 2 cups oatmeal
 1 cup raisins
 1 cup coconut

Preheat oven to 375 F.

Cream butter and sugar until very light. Add eggs, vanilla and milk. Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture. Mix well.

Add oatmeal, raisins and coconut. Mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
